Libretto: Ranieri de' Calzabigi, 'Alceste. Tragedia per musica da rappresentarsi nel Reggio Teatro (Copenhagen, 1774). This was the first production of the Italian version of Gluck's Alceste (see APGRD ID 5912) outside Vienna and Austria. The score of the opera envisaged ballets.
