Epic Study-Afternoon

An in-person Study Afternoon on Thursday 6 June, 3-6pm BST, in the Jacqueline du Pre Music Building, St Hilda's College, OX4 1DY.

With talks by Katherine Harloe (Director Institute of Classical Studies, London) on the politics of ancient epic, and Margaret Kean (St Hilda’s College, Oxford) on Armando Iannucci’s Pandemonium: Some Verses on the Utter Beggaring of Belief​. These will be followed by a performance of Christopher Logue’s music for War Music by Alex Silverman (musician).
