Occasion - possibly the Lenaea? Phanostratus came first (we don't know what the plays were). The restoration of the inscription (IG II² 3073) to read Phanostratus is supported by further inscriptions; see TrGF1, 94 Phanostratus, T2-3, p. 263. The tragic actor Hieromemnon won at the same occasion. Hieromnemon won the acting prize.
