Prose translation by Leconte Delisle. First volume: Hékabè, Orestès, Les Phoinissiennes, Médéia, Hippolytos, Alkèstis, Andromakhè, Les Suppliantes, Iphigénéia à Aulis; second volume: Iphigénéia chez les Taures, Rhèsos, Les Troiades, Les Bakkhantes, Les Hèrakleides, Hélène, Iôn, Héraklès furieux, Elektra, Le Kyclôps. A number of these plays were reprinted in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries with standardised titles, such as Les Bacchantes in 1948, and Iphigénie à Aulis, Les Troyennes, Hécube, Andromaque, Electre, Oreste, Iphigénie en Tauride and Hélène in 2007 in a collection of Leconte de Lisle's translations of Tojan tragedies entitled Mourir pour Troie edited by Annie Collognat.
