This masque by Robert Bridges was produced by Margery Fry, the Librarian of Somerville, for the official opening of the Library on 11 June. There was a repeat performance on 22 June. The piece was revived at Somerville fifty years later in 1954 (see ID 10149). Triptolemus and Demophoön episode in (from Ovid, Metamorphoses 5.642-61).
