Production notes:
The Onassis Programme is delighted to announce the launch of a playreadings series. We will be presenting rehearsed readings of plays by emerging writers inspired by classical drama. Each playreading will be the opportunity to see the work of an emerging and talented young writer performed and directed by first class actors and directors from the theatre industry. All the plays will have relationships to classical texts and form part of the very vibrant reception of classical plays taking place in contemporary playwriting. All the plays are still in development and it will be an opportunity to provide feedback to writers at a vital stage of the creative process. (www.onassis.ox.ac.uk)
