This dramma per musica was possibly an adaptation of Antonio Salvi, 'Astianatte' (Florence 1701, Sartori ID 3265), 'L'Andromaca o siano Le furie d 'Oreste. Dramma per musica da rappresentarsi in Firenze nel Teatro di Via della Pergola nel carnevale dell'anno 1754 sotto la protezione della sac. Ces. Real maestà di Francesco I imperadore de'romani sempre augusto duca di Lorena, e di Bar ecc. E gran duca di Toscana' (Florence: Cosimo Maria Pieri, 1754). The libretto is an adaptation of Racine's tragedy into an opera; according to the operatic convention the ending is modified into a 'lieto fine' (happy ending).
