Production notes:
It is not known when this play was produced. The date range for performance given here is between the year of his first competition (acc. to Suda) and his death (Marm. Par.). It is assumed that this play would have been produced in Athens. It has the alternative title of Nurses (Trophoi) and apparently included the rejuvenation of the Nurses by Medea. It may have been the satyr drama at the end of a Dionysiac tetralogy; the other plays could have been: Wool-carders, Semele and Pentheus.
