If line 18 of the inscription (IG II² 2363) is restored to read Athenodorus, then it would suggest that Athenodorus' tragedy Phoenix had been performed in Athens before 100 BC. Alternative restorations of the name are: Zenodorus or Menodorus. The date range for performance given here is based on conjecture.
