The date of production for this play is not known. Critias was born in 460 BC and so the date range given here is based on the assumption that he could have been producing tragedies at any point after the age of 30 up until his death in 403 BC. There is some question, based on the evidence of the vit. Eur., whether some of the plays, including the Rhadamanthys, ascribed to him were in fact written by Euripides.
