This play came fourth in the contest for comedy, the name of the author is badly damaged but has been restored as Theophilus. The winning play was Philippides’ Mystis, other new comic plays were by Nicostratus (title unknown), Ameinias’ Apoleipousa and a play called Paidion by an unknown author. A revival of Anaxandrides’ Thesauros was also performed.
