    Welcoming Florencia Nelli

    A warm welcome to Florencia Nelli, our new Archive Administrative Assistant and Researcher, who joined the APGRD team this week. Florencia's research focuses on deixis in ancient Greek drama, comparative philology and ancient Greek dialects, and reception studies in Latin America.

    We are delighted to invite you to explore the APGRD's brand new website. We hope you enjoy the new-look, please do feel free to send us any feedback as we'd love to hear your thoughts! Our old site, which was built in 2011, has been archived in the British Library's UK Web Archive.

    Call For Papers

    The theme for this year’s annual APGRD / University of London postgraduate symposium, will be: ‘Ecologies and Futures in the Theory and Practice of Greek and Roman Performance and its Reception(s).’ The deadline for abstracts is Friday 25 April. Read the CFP in full (PDF).

    Agamemnon colloquium registration

    Registration is open for our hybrid Agamemnon colloquium on Friday 21 March (afternoon). Booking for in-person attendance is now live and is free; should you wish to join us for an informal buffet-style lunch before the colloquium (12.30-1.30pm) there is a charge of £8 per person, which can be selected as an optional extra when registering. Online attendees do not need to register.
