
Dr Florencia Nelli graduated with a BA in Spanish Language & Literature and a BA in Classical Languages & Literature from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, and then a Master and a Doctorate from Oxford University, where she researched deixis in ancient Greek drama and demonstrative pronouns across ancient Greek dialects.
As well as linguistics, comparative philology, modern languages and literature, Florencia's research has always focused on reception studies, particularly in Latin America, where she worked as an actor, assistant director, props assistant and make-up artist for many years at 'Taller de Teatro de la UNLP' in La Plata, Argentina. She joined the APGRD in 2025 as Archive Administrative Assistant.
Florencia is the Director and Language Projects Coordinator of a Community Interest Company founded in 2012, The Communicate Project CIC.
