APGRD Notes
Paramonus won a posthumous victory with a play whose title is lost. At the same festival audiences saw a revival of Menander’s Phasma. The other new comic plays were Criton’s Aitolos and Biottus’ Poet. Damon acted, see Ghiron-Bistagne, Recherches sur les acteurs dans la Grèce antique (Paris : Les Belles Lettres, 1976), p. 45, and I.E. Stephanis, Dionysiakoi Technitai: Symboles stên prosôpographia tou theatrou kai tês mousikês tôn archaiôn Hellênôn (Heraklion: University of Crete, 1988), no. 582.
