Pericles was choregos for this production. This was the satyr drama which completed the tetralogy: Phineus, Persians and Glaucus of Potnia. Aeschylus won the competition. Some have argued that this play and Prmoetheus Pyrphoros (the Fire-Bearer) were not different plays.
