This play was the second in the tetralogy: Laius, Oedipus, Seven Against Thebes, Sphinx (satyr drama). Aeschylus competed against Aristias and Polyphrasmon, and won. No fragments from this play survive, see TrGF3, p. 287-8, see also Sommerstein, Aeschylus Fragments (Loeb, 2008), p. 175.
