Isadora Duncan's 'Dionysion' programme at the Century Opera House (New York) took place March to April 1915, and consisted of a repertoire of performances in rotation, including: Iphigenia (this production); Orpheus (see production ID 14833); and Oedipus (see production ID 7052), as well as performances of Schubert and Chopin. The Dionysion programme's Music Director was Edward Falck, and the Drama Director was Augustin Duncan.
The Iphigenia performances comprised of two parts:
Part I: Iphigenia in Aulis: songs, choruses, and dances, to Gluck's music, with verses written by Louis Anspacher, plus "overture with Finale of Richard Wagner".
Part II: Iphigenia in Tauris, with choruses written by Witter Bynner (this translation of IT was written for Isadora Duncan in 1914; published late 1915).
