Poses won first prize for comedy. At the same festival Alexander of Tanagra won the competition for satyr plays and Asclepiades won the competition in tragedy. The competition in old Comedy was won by the actor Hipparchus with an unknown play. The principal actor in Poses’ play, Demetrius, also won second prize for old Comedy.
