An inscription from Delos records that several actors, including Diodorus of Sinope, ‘performed for the god’, that is gave free performances. The titles of the comedies performed are unknown. Diodorus also appears in another inscription regarding the year 280. It has been suggested that ‘Diodorus of Sinope’ and ‘Diodorus of Athens’ are the same person. For the comic actor, see Stephanis, no. 696.
