The inscription records the performance of a satyr drama by the Theban playwright Aminias at the Charitesia in Orchomenus, c. 100 BC. The title of the play is unknown. The competition in old Comedy at this festival was won by Callistratus, the competition in old Tragedy at this festival was won by Hippocrates; the same festival had competitions in tragedy (won by the playwright Sophocles) and comedy (won by the playwright Alexandrus). Callistratus is also recorded in the same inscription as the victor in the Homoloia at Orchomenos.
