Prose translation by Isaac Lemaistre de Sacy. The first edition published in Paris under the pseudonym Saint-Aubin, contains L'Andrienne, Les Adèlphes, Le Phormion. It was reprinted in 1654, and a revised edition was issued in Lyon in 1677. In 1681 and in 1699-1700 it was reprinted in Strasbourg (J. F. Spoor) by Paul Rogier Sibour, for the benefit of German speakers wanting to learn French. In 1710, a two volume edition of Terence's six plays complemented Lemaître's translations with translations of L'Eunuque, L'Héautontimoroumenon et L'Hécyre. Sources: BNF catalogue général.
