In 'Ovidius in Exsilio', Ovid (Ovidju) has been exiled to Tomis by Augustus. He pursues his slave-girl, whom he calls Corinna, and starts to write works for the stage - the stories of Deucalion and Pyrrha, and Echo and Narcissus, which become plays within the play. Part of the Evenings on Campus summer arts festival at the University of Malta. Staged in conjunction with the Malta Classics Association's exhibition of Monika Beisner's paintings inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses.
