This was the second of the two 'scenical representations' staged by the Collegio de'Nobili Longone during the carnival season 1745 (between Christmas and Lent). The first piece was titled Il Mario. It is unclear what the format of this 'scenical representation' was: it is possible that it included music and dance. It is also unclear which of the two Euripides' Iphigenia plays this production was related to.
