Libretto: Antonio Landi, 'I Greci in Tauride. This production was based on a reworking of Agricola's Oreste e Pilade written for Frederick the Great in 1772 (see Production ID 10571). The original production had been unsuccessful and Frederick himself required the recomposition of the work. The new production took place in early 1773, during the carnival season. Another production took place in Berlin in 1786 under the original title Oreste and Pilade (Sartori ID 17374).
