World première of Edward German's March (replacing lines 101-61) and Chorus (a setting of lines 332-75 for three-part men's chorus) from Antigone. The music was composed for an entertainment at Wimbledon School on 11 April 1888, but the performance was cancelled owing to an epidemic among the schoolboys. The libretto was to be sung in ancient Greek in 1888; at this 2007 performance an English translation by Peter Brown was used. This piece is listed as 'untraced' in Grove Music Online, but it was found by Peter Brown.
