APGRD Notes
Ted Shawn is bound by his left hand to a large three-piece rock sculpture rising fifteen feet or so. The film lasts for approximately five minutes and is shot from two angles: from a few feet, and close-up. It has been filmed outdoors. Film version, circa 1940, of Shawn's 1929 Prometheus Bound (see id 15150), choreographed to composer Alexander Scriabin's "Prometheus: Poem of Fire". Can this film be dated/located to the Jacob’s Pillow performances? (See id. 6192)
