APGRD Notes
Rudolf Heinrich's design program is abstract and incorporates large stone slabs and boulders, and a decaying palace with holes through which scenes like Aegisthus' murder could be seen. This production marks the first time the design was changed at the Met since Elektra's debut there in 1932.
