Dr Caterina Domeneghini is a classicist by training and completed her DPhil in English in 2024, funded by the Wolfson Foundation and co-supervised by Stefano Evangelista and Fiona Macintosh. She was a former Rare Book Collection fellow of the Wilson Library, UNC Chapel Hill from September to December 2022. Her thesis broadly examines the questions ‘what is a classic?’ and ‘what is world literature?’ from the perspective of the 20th-century working-class publisher J. M. Dent and his Everyman’s Library, on which she has written for Classical Receptions Journal (OUP) and Literary Imagination (OUP). Caterina also likes to review books for literary outlets in English and Italian.
