Dr Alessandra Zanobi completed her thesis in 2008 on 'Seneca's Tragedies and the Aesthetics of Pantomime' at the University of Durham (supervisor: Edith Hall), which was published by Bloomsbury in 2014.

Alessandra has a chapter on Seneca and ancient pantomime in New Directions in Ancient Pantomime (Oxford University Press, 2008) and one on Martha Graham and Pina Bausch in The Ancient Dancer in the Modern World (Oxford University Press, 2010).
