For my CAGR project, I collaborated with several secondary schools, with the East Oxford Community Classics Centre, and with Massolit — a non-profit provider of curriculum-linked educational resources for teachers. I devised and delivered talks to school groups on a variety of subjects, including the role of Classics in World War I, and filmed a course on Cicero’s de imperio. It was a rewarding challenge to tailor my own research expertise to the more specific, curriculum-based needs of schools. Working with Massolit was a particularly good opportunity to move beyond the physical confines of the classroom and offer a set of talks that will, by being hosted on an established online platform, reach a wide range of audiences.
