It is not known when this play was produced. The date range for performance given here is between the year of his first competition (acc. to Suda) and his death (Marm. Par.). It is assumed here that this play would have been produced in Athens. This play is cited as both Lemnioi (men of Lemnos) and Lemniai (Women of Lemnos). This play may have formed part of a tetralogy with Hypsipyle, Cabeiri, and Argo.
