It is not known when this play was produced. The date range for performance given here is between the year of his first competition (acc. to Suda) and his death (Marm. Par.). It is assumed that this play would have been produced in Athens. It may have been the satyr play performed after Argives, Eleusinians, and Epigonoi. Another possibility is that it was performed after Alcmene and Heracleidae.
